The “Reisen Hamburg” trade fair had a royal visitor on Wednesday, its opening day, as Princess Benedikte of Denmark dropped in to open the fair. Swedish Royals Attend Funeral of Late Mistress of the Robes

The funeral service of Countess Alice Trolle-Wachtmeister took place on Wednesday afternoon at the Trolle Ljungby Church in Skåne. The late Countess died on June 26 at the age of 91. Princess Benedikte Returns To Work After Prince Richard’s Death

Princess Benedikte of Denmark has returned to official engagements following the death of her husband, Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, last month. She attended a board meeting of the Queen Ingrid Honorary Grant at the restaurant Nimb in Tivoli on Thursday. It was attended by five other members of the board. The meeting was the Princess’s first public engagement since Prince Richard’s death on March 14.

Prince Richard Farewelled In Bad Berleburg

Richard, 6th Prince zu Sayn-Wittengenstein-Berleburg was today farewelled in a funeral service at Bad Berleburg’s Evangelische Stadtkirche. His widow, Princess Benedikte, lead mourners from Denmark, Greece, Sweden, Norway, The Netherlands, Jordan and Germany’s noble families. The funeral of Richard, 6th Prince zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg will take place on Tuesday March 21, it has been confirmed by his family. A centuries-old church organ that was restored over a 25-year period was today inaugurated at St Peter’s Church in Næstved with Princess Benedikte present.
