The funeral service of Countess Alice Trolle-Wachtmeister took place on Wednesday afternoon at the Trolle Ljungby Church in Skåne. The late Countess died on June 26 at the age of 91. Princess Benedikte of Denmark has returned to official engagements following the death of her husband, Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, last month. She attended a board meeting of the Queen Ingrid Honorary Grant at the restaurant Nimb in Tivoli on Thursday. It was attended by five other members of the board. The meeting was the Princess’s first public engagement since Prince Richard’s death on March 14.
