Today, January 14, 2024 Queen Margrethe II of Denmark signed her abdication during an exceptional Council of State at Christiansborg Castle in Copenhagen. The Danish Queen announced her plans to abdicate the throne during her annual speech on new years eve, two weeks ago. Légion d’honneur Bestowed Upon Danish Princess Marie

Denmark’s French-born Princess, Marie, was today bestowed the Légion d’honneur in a ceremony at the French Embassy in Copenhagen.
