The Princess, accompanied by her parents, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, and her siblings, Prince Christian, Princess Josephine and Prince Vicnent, arrived around noon at Fredensborg Palace where Queen Margrethe was waiting to greet the Crown Prince Family’s arrival. New Photos As Denmark’s Prince Felix Turns Fifteen

Prince Felix of Denmark, the younger son of Prince Joachim and his first wife the Countess of Frederiksborg, today celebrates his fifteenth birthday. To mark the day, the Danish Royal Court has released a series of photographs of the birthday boy and his elder brother, Prince Nikolai. The three photos were taken by favourite court photographer Steen Brogaard. The Prince is eight in line to the Danish throne.

Princess Marie was accompanied by her husband, Prince Joachim, and their children to the Tonder Festival this afternoon. kongehuset.dk had announced that Princess Marie would be attending the event with no other royals mentioned. The royals were joined by family friends and their children. The Princess has been patron of the Tønder Festival since 2009. Tønder Festival is a folk music festival which takes place in August.

New Danish Painting Unveiled

A new painting of the Danish Royal Family was unveiled last week, ahead of its display at Amalienborg. Thomas Kluge, a Danish artist who has previously painted portraits of members of the family on numerous occasions, was the man commissioned to create the portrait.
