Margrethe and Henrik Take Felix To Handball Final
Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik took their second eldest grandson, Prince Felix, with them yesterday afternoon when they attended the final match of the European Handball Championships in Herning.
The final match saw Denmark take on France (the native land of the Prince Consort) at the Jyske Bank Boxen. Unfortunately for the spectators, the home team were unable to overcome the domineering French team, going down 41-32.
After the match, Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik and Prince Felix offered commiserations to the Danish team on a quick visit to the team locker room. The Queen and Prince Consort also paid a visit to the French locker room to offer congratulations.
Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt was also present for the match with one of her daughters.
