Queen Jetsun Pema Inaugurates National Veterinary Hospital

The Queen of Bhutan inaugurated the new National Veterinary Hospital in Motithang on Monday. Joined by Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and Jaideep Sarkar, the Indian Ambassador to Bhutan, Queen Jetsun Pema was shown around the new three-storey facility, which will be able to better serve the increased needs of the animal population. German President Lunches With Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace

Queen Elizabeth II was joined by the Duke of Cambridge on Tuesday as she welcomed the President of Germany to Buckingham Palace for a private luncheon. The Queen and her grandson greeted President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender in the Grand Entrance, before lunch in the 1844 Room. Later in the day, the Queen received the French and Jordanian ambassadors.

Dutch State Visit to Italy: Vatican City and Milan

Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria has completed her working visit to Japan today. Her final day in the country was spent in Shiogama, north of Tokyo in the Miyagi Prefecture. Denmark’s French-born Princess, Marie, was today bestowed the Légion d’honneur in a ceremony at the French Embassy in Copenhagen. The French Ambassador to Denmark, François Zimeray, presented the Princess with the insignia of the Légion d’honneur, class Grand Officer.
