The Queen of Bhutan inaugurated the new National Veterinary Hospital in Motithang on Monday. Joined by Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and Jaideep Sarkar, the Indian Ambassador to Bhutan, Queen Jetsun Pema was shown around the new three-storey facility, which will be able to better serve the increased needs of the animal population. Prince Henrik Admitted To Hospital Following Egyptian Trip

83-year-old Prince Henrik of Denmark was admitted to hospital in Copenhagen on Sunday night, the Danish Royal Court has confirmed. The Prince, who was diagnosed with dementia last year, was originally hospitalised last week during a vacation in Egypt. Prince Henrik Undergoes Groin, Pelvis Surgery

The Danish Royal Court announced on Monday that Prince Henrik has undergone surgery on his groin and pelvis, where balloon stents were placed in pulmonary arteries in the area which were blocked. The operation took place at Skejby Hospital in Aarhus. Prince Henrik is expected to be released on Wednesday. The Court had previously announced Thursday that he had been hospitalised for treatment on a leg infection.

Prince Henrik Hospitalised With Leg Infection

The Danish Royal Court confirmed on Thursday that Prince Henrik was admitted to the Aarhus University Hospital this week to receive treatment for a leg infection. Prince Philip Admitted to Hospital with Infection

Buckingham Palace announced this morning that the Duke of Edinburgh was last night admitted to hospital “as a precautionary measure” as he has contracted an infection from a “pre-existing condition”.
