King Mohammed VI of Morocco has undergone successful pterygium surgery at the Quinze-Vingt Ophthalmology Hospital Center in Paris. Prince Henrik Undergoes Groin, Pelvis Surgery

The Danish Royal Court announced on Monday that Prince Henrik has undergone surgery on his groin and pelvis, where balloon stents were placed in pulmonary arteries in the area which were blocked. The operation took place at Skejby Hospital in Aarhus. Prince Henrik is expected to be released on Wednesday. The Court had previously announced Thursday that he had been hospitalised for treatment on a leg infection.

Queen Paola Breaks Hip In Fall, To Undergo Surgery

79-year-old Queen Paola has broken her hip in a nasty fall at her home, Belvédère Castle, the Belgian Royal Court said in a statement released today. The Queen will undergo surgery to fix the break on Friday at the Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc in Brussels. She will require several months of rehabilitation, the Court has said. Princess Beatrix Undergoes Knee Replacement Surgery

The RVD has confirmed that Princess Beatrix underwent knee replacement surgery today at the Franciscus/Vlietland Hospital in Schiedam. Orthopaedic surgeons Dr Marcel Driessen and Dr Stefan Breugem performed the surgery, which replaced the Princess’s right knee with a prostheses. She had a similar surgery performed on her left knee back in 2005. Princess Beatrix will remain in hospital for a few days, before undertaking rehabilitation at home.

Princess Alexia Breaks Leg While Skiing in Lech

Princess Alexia of the Netherlands is recovering well after surgery today to repair a broken leg she suffered while skiing in Lech, Austria. Princess Beatrix Breaks Cheekbone

Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands has broken her cheekbone, the RVD (Government Information Service) announced today. The Princess underwent an operation to fix the break today. She will spend a few days recuperating in hospital, before returning to Huis ten Bosch Palace to recover. She suffered the break in a fall at her home, Huis ten Bosch.
