Thomas Kluge, a Danish artist who has previously painted portraits of members of the family on numerous occasions, was the man commissioned to create the portrait. The Danish Royal Court has published the long-awaited photographs of Denmark’s newest royal – the infant daughter of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie. The series of photographs, taken at Schackenborg Palace by Steen Brogaard, feature the little princess with her parents and older brothers, Princes Nikolai, Felix and Henrik. The infant was born on January 24th, and will be christened on May 20th.
