King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway attended the Christmas Service in Holmenkollen Chapel today. They were accompanied by Emma Tallulah Behn, their youngest grandchild and daughter of Princess Märtha Louise and the late Ari Behn. Norwegian Royals Attend Nobel Peace Prize

On December 10, 2023, King Harald V, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo’s city hall. The 51-year-old winner, the Iranian Narges Mohammadi, was herself absent during the ceremony. Her portrait hung on the wall and his empty chair was symbolically present on the stage. Haakon and Mette-Marit Welcome Special Olympic Athletes

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway were present when the government received the Norwegian squad who participated in the Special Olympics World Games of Berlin this summer. The Crown Princely couple had the opportunity to talk to the athletes and hear about their experiences in Germany. The Norwegian athletes participated in handball, gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, bowling, riding, athletics, judo, swimming, golf and badminton.
