Haakon and Mette-Marit Welcome Special Olympic Athletes

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway were present when the government received the Norwegian squad who participated in the Special Olympics World Games of Berlin this summer. The Crown Princely couple had the opportunity to talk to the athletes and hear about their experiences in Germany. The Norwegian athletes participated in handball, gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, bowling, riding, athletics, judo, swimming, golf and badminton.

Today, Tuesday August 10, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima received the Dutch medal winners of the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Prince Frederik Attends Team Danmark Donation Hand-Over

Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark was present on Monday at the Bagsværd Rostadion as Team Danmark received a donation of 50million DKK from the Salling Foundation to assist in their preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
