Emperor Akihito Celebrates 83rd Birthday With Record-Breaking Crowd

Prince Hisahito Joins Parents On Visit To Niigata Prefecture

Japan’s 9-year-old Prince Hisahito has joined his parents, Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko, on a three-day visit to the Niigata Prefecture in the centre of the country. The Emperor of Japan today celebrated his 82nd birthday, and was warmly celebrated by his family and the Japanese public.
