The Prince of Wales today visited the National Gallery in London, where he was given a tour of the Gallery’s new exhibition, Delacroix and the Rise of Modern Art. Charles was also named the Gallery’s first Royal Patron, after being a trustee between the years of 1986 to 1993. The exhibition is the first in Britain of the works of French artist Eugène Delacroix in over 50 years.
