I saw a film clip on YouTube (on the Meaghan Kelly Show 26/10/23 Melbourne Australian time)) of Queen Rania of Jordan criticizing Israel for bombarding the Gaza strip that cause so many deaths and destruction. Surprise to see and hear the wife of the king of Jordan making a public political statement, it is the first time I see and hear a political statement of the wife of the king of Jordan or any member of any royal family worldwide.

Queen Rania has done Jordan no favours with her intemperate words. King Abdullah is working, along with the CP and greater Jordanian government to try to ameliorate the Gazan situation, treading careful, diplomatic steps with the heads of state of both their Western allies and surrounding Arabic countries.

I find myself appalled by behavior which will only resurrect the unrest caused when Abdullah married her because of her Palestinian roots. She has also undermined all his hard work because, let's face it, more people watch CNN's Christiane Amanpour's interview than dry politicians trying to do the best they can,.
