Princess Ingrid Alexandra Receives Congratulations from the Institutions

Today, Friday January 21, was a big day for the birthday girl, Princess Ingrid Alexandra. This morning, for the first time, the Princess attended the Council of State at the Royal Palace at the presence of her grandfather, His Majesty King Harald, her father, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon and members of the Government.
Afterwards the Princess received congratulatory deputations from the Norwegian Institutions and the public sector during a ceremony at the presence of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit.
Among the others she received the President of the Storting, the Norwegian Parliament, the Prime Minister, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the diplomatic corps, the Norwegian Armed Forces, the Church of Norway.
King Harald, to mark this special occasion, awarded Princess Ingrid Alexandra with the Grand Cross of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav and the King Harald’s Royal Family Order.
The Norwegian Royal Court released two more official photos of the Princess: in the first one she is portraiyed with her parents, brothers, grandfather and grandmothers, in the second one she is with King Harald and Crown Prince Haakon.
