Prince Sébastien of Luxembourg, the youngest child of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, today celebrates his twenty-fifth birthday. He was born at the Maternité Grande-Duchesse Charlotte Hospital in 1992 on his father’s 37th birthday. After primary and secondary education in Luxembourg and England, Sebastien headed to the United States of America for university. Prince Sébastien Welcomes Parents To Sandhurst

Another Prince welcomed his parents to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst over the weekend, as Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg arrived at the Academy to visit their youngest son. National Day Celebrated in Luxembourg

Following yesterday’s evening events to kick-off National Day, the main events were held today in Luxembourg to mark the occasion. First up was a ceremony at the Salle de concerts Grande-Duchesse Josephine-Charlotte in which awards and honours were presented to citizens of merit. Afterwards was the military parade at Avenue de la Liberté attended by the Grand Ducal and Hereditary Grand Ducal couples. The Te Deum at the Cathédral Notre-Dame followed, as per tradition. Luxembourg’s National Day Celebrations Kick Off

The two-day celebrations of Luxembourg’s National Day began today, with visits to Troisvierges and Esch-sur-Alzette by the Grand Ducal and Hereditary Grand Ducal Couples.
