Mike Tindall’s syndicate Redwall Bloodstock made a tidy sum on the Gold Coast today, as it sold one of its fillies for a £52,000 profit during the first day of the Magic Millions Yearling Sale. The filly, sired by Bel Esprit out of Kahala Dreams, was the opening lot during the sale, and was purchased by Randwick Bloodstock and Mystery Downs for £98,500. The Princess Royal was honoured on Friday by the famed Spanish Riding School of Vienna. The former equestrian Princess is the recipient of the School’s Prix de l’École d’Équitation Espagnole de Vienne for 2017. Princess Anne was presented with the award, a Swarovski crystal statuette in the shape of ‘Maestro Superba’ (“a stallion performing a Leavde”), for her long-standing contributions and efforts in horse breeding and equestrian.
