Prince Friedrich Wilhem of Prussia, the paternal uncle of the current head of the House of Hohenzollern, Georg Friedrich, has passed away at the age of 76, his family confirmed earlier today. Duchess Donata of Oldenburg Has Passed Away

It was announced yesterday that Duchess Donata of Oldenburg, the mother of Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia, has died after a long illness. She died on Saturday September 5. According to the statement released by her family, the Duchess died at a hospital in Traunstein, aged 65. The nature of her illness was not disclosed. Another Prussian Baby On The Way?

German magazine Bunte is reporting that the Prince and Princess of Prussia are expecting their third child. Nothing has been officially confirmed by the prospective parents as yet, Princess Sophie is believed to be due to give birth in April. The couple are already parents to twin sons, Princes Carl Friedrich and Louis Ferdinand, who were born in January 2013. Prince Georg Friedrich and Princess Sophie were married in August 2011.
