Sheikha Al Mayassa Opens Exhibition on Chinese Silk Work

Sheikha Al Mayassa bin Hamad Al Thani has opened a new exhibition at the Qatar Museums Gallery Katara that focuses on Chinese silk work. Prince Charles Becomes Patron of the National Gallery

The Prince of Wales today visited the National Gallery in London, where he was given a tour of the Gallery’s new exhibition, Delacroix and the Rise of Modern Art. Charles was also named the Gallery’s first Royal Patron, after being a trustee between the years of 1986 to 1993. The exhibition is the first in Britain of the works of French artist Eugène Delacroix in over 50 years.
