Swedish King Marks Veterans Day

In Stockolm’s Royal Djurgården at the National Maritime Museum on Monday, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Prince Carl Philip honoured Sweden’s military veterans during the annual Veterans Day commemorations. The King laid a wreath at the national veterans monument, Restare, before he presented a Armed Forces’ merit medal and the medal presented to soldiers injured in combat.

King Harald of Norway marked Liberation and Veterans Day at the Akershus Fortress on Monday. He was joined by Prime Minister Erna Solberg.
