Very elegant! Princess Charlene looks beautiful in green and happy. She can wear all colors well.

I don’t normally like Akris, but this is a very lovely dress for the princess. Just wish she’d have worn some statement earrings or a necklace.

A full length coat with a train? I think Charlene is the only royal lady could pull that off. I wish the hat is made of with less shinny material but overall it's a regal outfit with Charlene usual style.

Did anyone else notice she had added a black belt when she went in the car to go to the cathedral? It was off again when she arrived. Surely you don't keep making changes to an outfit on the day itself. The belt was an improvement too as it broke up all the white and it took the bulkiness away around her waist.

I can’t say I like it. It’s verging on the ridiculous, but she just about gets away with it.

PS: IT'S MY HUNDREDTH POST!!!!

Once again the black and white ensemble is quintessential Charlene and the only thing I really don't like is the pilgrim crown (sort of like Catherine's hat on Remembrance Day). The blue evening gown is beautiful both in colour and fit and she looks very minimalist which is a problem for me as I love bling.

I so wish she would wear a tiara to this event. On a lesser note, I wish she would place her sash in a better position on her gown, perhaps with a brooch, it looks dreadful as it is. Surely after all these years she must know that a sash should drape over her shoulder and not against her neck.

Charlene is at her best when she is simple and elegant, like this navy blue sheath.

I didn't hate her daytime outfit, I just found it a little strange for the occasion.

I totally agree with the comment about the sash. Surprised no one has advised her on the correct positioning.. This is a very elegant look as befits her status. The colour really suits her - I find her current hair colouring doesn’t work with the white, monochrome look she often favours.

It reminded me of a cassock to be honest.

This is a fashion, not a jewels thread. All posts of today have been moved to Charlene's jewels thread.

:previous: Strangely enough I really like her ensemble and so it seems does she, if the wonderfully confident animated smile she's got on her face.

That's a really lovely look and colour on the Princess but the Order needed a brooch to complete the overall look.

I like the latest evening look - it’s what Charlene does best.

I think the top half she looked great , but Im not keen on the length, if it had been just under her knees it would of been a better look I think.

All Charlene was missing was a Wimple and she's have looked like an Abbess/Mother Superior!

The Black and White was a big miss ,nothing worked.

Stunning!!!! Everything about this dress works for her!!

Beautiful gown! I wish more ladies bring back the full length gown coat.

Our beloved Princess looked every inch as if she like a fairy tale princess!!!!

I really like both of her latest outfits. The ball gown is a style which is a pleasant change from her usual minimalist look. The grey coat and sweater look snug and it’s a good colour for her.
