A much better picture of the 4 January look. The choker aside, I love the simplicity of the look.

I don't like the skirt at all, it looks cheap with the seams all over the place. I am sure it wasn't cheap but I don't find it up to scratch for such an event.

I prefer how she changed the waistband/ belt of the skirt in the earlier look with this jacket The overall shape is more flattering.
Seems this skirt is like marmite here. I personally love the tiered, soft hue colours.

It's not her best look. I love the jacket, but not the skirt or hair.

Having said that, I agree with An Ard Ri that Mary is one of the best dressed royals. She pays attention to the little details that complete an outfit.
