Saudi & Qatar Royals Attend Charity Dinner

On December 13, Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser, Qatar Foundation Chairperson, HRH Prince Waleed bin Talal and his spouse HRH Princess Amira Al Taweel attended the 4th Reach Out to Asia (Rota) gala dinner and charity auction raised $13 million to support Rota education projects in troubled Asian communities.

The highest bidder of the charity event was by Saudi Prince Waleed bin Talal, who donated more than $3m. During the event, ROTA Chairperson Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani presented the ROTA Lifetime Achievement Award. H.E. Sheikha Al Mayassah commented, “ROTA is proud to honor H.E. Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Attiyah for his ceaseless efforts on behalf of the people of Qatar. His Excellency is a shining example to us and a proof that hard work, dedication and a bold vision can create a stable, prosperous and progressive society.”

  1. We full appreciate this new figure of promoting societies in oder to developpe human abilitiesof education.
    These heavy efforts of the biroyal, family Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

    We hope that, one day, our land -Rep.Benin-will be lucky with such educatioal project, especially women s education.
