Denmark’s Princess Isabella today celebrates her tenth birthday. New photos of the birthday girl taken by Steen Evald have been released by the Danish Royal Court to mark the occasion. A Busy Day in Denmark For Princess Mary

The Crown Princess of Denmark had a busy day of engagements on Thursday, as she spent time at the Danish Home Guard’s command centre in Vordingborg before visiting a hospice in Lolland. Princess Benedikte Returns To Work After Prince Richard’s Death

Princess Benedikte of Denmark has returned to official engagements following the death of her husband, Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, last month. She attended a board meeting of the Queen Ingrid Honorary Grant at the restaurant Nimb in Tivoli on Thursday. It was attended by five other members of the board. The meeting was the Princess’s first public engagement since Prince Richard’s death on March 14.

Légion d’honneur Bestowed Upon Danish Princess Marie

Denmark’s French-born Princess, Marie, was today bestowed the Légion d’honneur in a ceremony at the French Embassy in Copenhagen. The French Ambassador to Denmark, François Zimeray, presented the Princess with the insignia of the Légion d’honneur, class Grand Officer. The order is the highest French order of merit, awarded for military and civil merits.
