Princess Ingrid Alexandra Lights Youth Olympic Games Cauldron

Norwegian Royals Cheer At Holmenkollen

The Norwegian Royal Family had an exciting weekend as they attended the annual Hollenkolmen FIS World Cup Nordic. King Harald V, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Astrid, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus were able to congratulate the Norwegian Therese Johaug for her 1st place in langlaufing on saturday. The planned Sunday competitions were sadly cancelled due to fog.

New Portraits Ahead of King Harald’s 25th Anniversary

The Royal Court of Norway has released a series of new portraits of the Royal Family, to mark the 25th anniversary of King Harald V taking the throne in January 1991. Sonja Haraldsen was born in Oslo on July 4, 1937 and her parents were Karl August Haraldsen and Dagny Ulrichsen.
