Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko’s State Visit to Canada

The Imperial Couple landed in Ottawa on Friday afternoon to kick off their 12-day state visit that will also take them to Toronto, Vancouver and Victoria. Norwegian State Visit from Canada

On Tuesday their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja welcomed Michaëlle Jean, the Governor General of Canada, and her husband Jean-Daniel Lafond, to Norway. The Crown Princely couple also took part in the official reception on the Palace Square.
