Prince Christian on a new photo released for his birthday today:

** Pic **

In fifteen years, he's going to look back on this photo and regret that hair cut, lol. Apart from that, lovely photo.

I liked Sofia's blue polka dress. I don't mind the hem length, because she has worn far shorter hems before (for example, in the events of the Princess of Asturias/Girona awards). Besides, it must be difficult to find a proper teen dress for her tall height.

I don't like Estelle's white tights, but it's common for little girls. If she is comfortable and warm, then good. Her dress is cute, I love that pattern.

Wow, it's the first time I dislike a b-day photo. It doesn't do justice to his looks. Pity, 'cause he is very handsome (that hairstyle needs to disappear, clearly not flattering).

The colour is great but I am really really tired of those pantsuits

Maybe it's Leo's hair getting a little darker, or maybe it's the pink that's darker, but she had a bright pink dress for something in the past (even before her POA one last year), and it just didn't suit her at all. This one and her London outfit look really nice. I think we can assume she likes pink!

Edit: And not to forget Sofia who seemingly likes her teals. And it's a rare event where she's dressed more "girly" than Leonor!

Double edit: Slightly amused that Leonor has pink shoes this year. Go girl.

I'm not sure what to think about their looks! So much pink does not really suit Leonor imo. it looks more like a business outfit-I hope Sofia will change her look when she turns 16 year.. Yes its a difficult age but there are other things she could wear..

Both girls look lovely, but they don’t really look like they were attending the same event. The bright shade of pink Leonor had on did make her look less businesslike than she would have in another color.

Love Leonor’s pink shoes. Fabulous.

She is turning 17 actually.

Sofia is (oddly?) once again a bit more girly.

Leonor's dress is also sparkly, just not as much. It looks nicer on camera. I love her hair.

Both of them look very pretty.

Nice dresses, but not for Leonor and Sofia. And their hair is hanging on their faces, which doesn't look good.

I think it is a difficult age, style wise. Clothes will often look either to young or to old. And at that age I am sure the princesses will want to have a say too and they are experimenting what works for them and what does not. I don't see anything wrong with any of the outfits. I don't mind the hairstyle, if anything it suits their ages. More formal options would quickly look frumpy.

I am shocked Princess Sophia is allowed to wear heels. I know she is tall, taller than her sister and the flats she wears while her sister wears heels makes them the same height. I like the heals on her as her legs do to look as tall. I love Sophia’s dress color. Not the dress style. It is too matronly for her. She even has lipstick on. A bit different for her. Mom is letting her grow up a bit.
Lenor style of dress is very nice but I do not like the busy pattern.
I often see that mom tries to color coordinate the girls to her outfit. Don’t care for that too much.
Both young ladies look happy. I noticed dad has been engaging Sophia more in talk at functions. It will be good for her to go away to school when it is time.

Their names are Sofia (Sofía, technically) and Leonor.

It's frequently noted that the Princess of Wales coordinates not just her children's clothes with hers but William's as well to present a united appearance as a family. I presume you "don't care for that too much" as well, and it's not just Letizia?

There is a difference with small children and older teenagers.

Color coordination may be cute when kids under ten (even George a bit old). But teens need their own personality.

I dont mind here as they aren't really that matchy.

Love Leonor in pant suits. Love the girls are starting to dress more their age. The 'princess dress' is only cute to a certain age.

I don't think Letizia does "match" with her daughters, here or on most occasions. And we all seem to have plenty of a sense of what the girls' personalities are, or at least how they like to express themselves through fashion.

Leonor's pretty hair. Updos really suit her. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/image...6cdec4b455ddd6003d719a2adaa2ee92a2768ad51.jpg
