Almost the entire Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg decamped to the south of France recently for their summer vacation. Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa were joined by four of their five children, as well as the Grand Duke’s siblings with some of their own families.

Photos were taken by French photographer David Nivière of the family frolicking on the beaches of Cabasson. A game of beach volleyball was played between the cousins, while one-year-old Princess Amalia, daughter of Prince Félix and Princess Claire, went for a dip in the water with her papa.

The family’s patriarch, Grand Duke Jean, was also there, seen in photos lounging on a beach chair keenly observing the day’s activities.

A group photograph of the family members in attendance was also published – in it are the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess; Grand Duke Jean; Prince Félix, Princess Claire and Princess Amalia; Prince Louis, Princess Tessy, Prince Gabriel and Prince Noah; Princess Alexandra; Prince Sébastien; Prince Guillaume and his sons Paul-Louis, Léopold and Jean (daughter Charlotte was seen on the beach); Prince Jean and his wife Countess Diane; Princess Margaretha and Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein and their children Maria Anunciata, Marie Astrid and Josef Emanuel; and Archduchess Marie-Astrid and Archduke Carl Christian of Austria with two of their children, Christoph (and his wife Adélaïde and daughter Katarina) and Gabriella.
