J & M moving to USA and will stay there for the foreseeble future… He is even more stubborn than his father was, and won’t formgive his mother and brother easily for stripping his children of their titles…

Christians 18 Birthday will include a white tie gala (What else when the gala loving QMII is the host ?)

QMII, PB and QAM makes more appearances together, to everyones delight.

And QMII will remain on the throne despite continued speculation of the contrary.

Norway -

The King takes more time off, but will remain on the throne for life.

The Queen continues working at 100 %.

The Crown Prince stands in even more for his father.

The Crown Princess takes over a few patronages from M-L and Princess Astrid, but her own health limits how active she can be.

The Crown Princely Couple have a joint grand 50:th Birthday Party in early August with foreign royals of their generation present.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra will start to appear at State Banquets but won’t represent much yet for a few years.

Princess Astrid will hand over her remaining roles and largely retire… But she will still attend State Banquets and Family Birthdays.

The Princess and The Shaman will suddenly separate because a new egyptian spirit has suddenly turned up in his head, telling him to not marry her as the former spirit was lying about her being an egyptian godess in her former life.

Sweden

The 500 Anniversary of Gustaf Vasa’s election to King in June is celebrated on a large scale.

The King’s Golden Jubilée in September is celebrated on and even larger scale.

Queen Silvia decides to slow down a bit and hands over World Childhood Foundation to Princess Madeleine and a selection of her patronages in Sweden to the Crown Princess and Princess Sofia.
But she won’t retire. Just take it easier

Grand Coronation festivities for the King and the Queen Consort wich will see royals, former royals and presidential representatives once again invade London.

The Dress Code for the Coronation Service won’t be slimmed down despite earlier talk about it.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex is notably absent from the Coronation… They promise to give all the details about that in their new book Spare 2.0

Prince Andrew has the 3-Day Flu between 5-8 May and needs to stay home…….

Both The King and The Queen Consort and The Prince and Princess of Wales will do an extensive Coronation Tour of the entire Kingdom.
Anne and Edward steps in as Councellors.

The King’s first outgoing state visit will be to France and the first european incoming State visit will be from Sweden.

Biden will do a State visit too, either late 2023 or possibly early 2024 before the election campaign starts.

2:nd pregnancy for Eugenie and Jack - but Bea and Edo will wait for awhile.

Peter and Lyndsey marries in Crathie Kirk in September and Charles throws a grand (but strictly private) reception at Balmoral.

Belgium -

Queen Mathilde’s 50:th Birthday is celebrated publicly but there is no white tie galas and no foreign royals present.

Netherlands -

Princess Catharina Amalia debuts another tiara at the Coronation of King Charles wich she attends together with grandmama Princess Beatrix.
Her security situation also improves and she can return to normal studies.


Luxembourg -

Talk about abdication begins but it won’t happen yet for a couple of years to allow the Hereditary Couple to welcome their youngest child.

The Grand Duchess infamous temper tantrums continues to cause controversy and further investigations are made.

A baby girl for Gulliaume and Stephanie, named Princess Alix after Stephanies late mother.

As previously announced, wedding for Princess Alexandra and Mr Nicolas Bagory.

Princess Alexandra performs some first lady duties alongside her father during 2023 as her mother is abroad (again) and Stephanie is on maternity leave.


Monaco

Charlene attends Charles’ coronation and the King of Sweden’s Golden Jubilée… Though uncertain wether she will wear a tiara given that she has very short hair now. But Albert will provide her with Grand necklaces and earrings to wear.


Thailand -

Sad news i’m afraid (and one very tragic and very soon i’m afraid if what Andrew Macgregor Marshall writes on his twitter account is true)

The King appoints a Crown Prince and it is a surprise to everyone. But it will help restore some degree of ”normality”.


Japan -

Princess Aiko accompanies her parents abroad on a State visit.

The government and the IHA continues to turn a blind eye to the line of sucession, hoping that Prince Hisahito will marry early and father several sons…

I expect next year is going to be a difficult and hard year for all the monarchies in Europe.
I think we will calls for the abolishment of the monarchy in Spain, UK and the Netherlands next year.

I expect that there will be two abdication next year - Belgium and Denmark. Coronations in 2024.

Sticking to the UK royals -

I think we will see only births from the UK - Eugenie's probably in May, Beatrice announcement at the end of the year and Kate birth in the year as well.

I don't think that Peter will get engaged _ personally I think the relationship has cooled off a bit - but maybe from Earl Snowdon.

I expect there is going to be lots of problems for Charles this year - not just from Harry. There is going to be a few books and there is an news story that is currently been held. So it is going to be a bumpy ride for his first year. There is going to be a commonwealth tour - Canada, Australia, Kenya and Botswana.
I expect Harry possible back in the family fold before the end of 2023.

The Netherlands

_ The security situation with the Morocco mafia wll improve and the Princess of Orange will be able to go back to living by herself in Amsterdam.

_ King Willem-Alexander's and Queen Maxima's popularity will continue to drop as they are seen as frivolous and out of the touch with the hardships endured by the Dutch people; republicanism will begin to gain traction among some mainstream political parties in the Netherlands.

_ The media will continue to focus on Princess Alexia's "bad girl" reputation.


Norway

_ Not good news, I'm afraid, but I expect CP Haakon to be appointed permanent regent as King Harald becomes increasingly frail.


Spain

_ The Princess of Asturias will make her tiara debut at an incoming state visit from another European monarchy (probably the Netherlands). I predict she will wear Queen Sofia's Prussian tiara.

_ Neither Leonor nor her parents will attend Prince Christian's birthday bash though.

_ King Felipe and Queen Letizia will make a state visit to Brazil.


Sweden

_ Queen Silvia will scale down her public engagements while the Crown Princess and Princess Sofia stand in for her; Princess Madeleine will take over her mother's role at the World Childhood Foundation.

_ King Carl XVI Gustaf's Golden Jubilee will be the biggest Swedish royal celebration in a generation, but will be criticized as excessive.

The United Kingdom

_ The Palace will drop the qualification "Consort" in Camilla's official title following the coronation and will start referring to her as HM The Queen.

_ The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not attend the coronation despite being invited and will sign more lucrative deals with big American media companies; Meghan will move closer to partisan politics with an eye to running for some elected office in the United States in 2024.

_ The popularity of the Prince and Princess of Wales will remain high and their children will continue to make public appearances.

_ The King and Queen Consort will visit Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

If they decide to join social media, I hope they take a note from Yogyakarta Sultanate rather than western monarchies. They do a good job in promoting/introducing Javanese culture, tradition, and history instead of focusing on activity of certain member of the family. I've learnt a lot about Javanese/Yogyakarta Sultanate from their social media posts. IMO, one strong argument that can be used as reason to keep the monarchy (amidst the public's apathy/indifference, particularly amongst the youth) is by presenting them as the guardian/custodian of Japanese tradition/culture.

In 2025 (just 2 years from now), Hisahito will be legally adult. And Aiko is older than him, it's not make sense to make her his heir since heir means to succeed, it'd be more logical to choose someone younger. If it's about supporting him in doing royal stuff, it's more likely to make her keep her royal status (even after married) than make her his heir.

Felix is not a bad match actually for Catharina-Amalia, He is Protestant, of the right age, good-looking, and the grandson of a Sovereign. A minor possible difficult though is that I think Amalia would prefer someone a bit taller given her own height.
