On February 2; it was the funeral Prince Henri, Count of Paris at the royal chapel in Dreux, the official burial site of members of the Orleanist royal family. The Count passed away on 21 January before he was due to attend the memorial mass for Louis XVI of France in Paris. His wife was unable to attend. Royals Express Sorrow Over Manchester Attack

Europe’s heads of state have this morning expressed their sorrow and solidarity following the terrorist attack in Manchester last night, which killed 22 people when a bomb went off as people were leaving an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena. The Prince and Princess of Venice sponsor two boys from Kenya

The Prince and Princess of Venice and Piedmont, Prince Emanuele Filiberto and Princess Clotilde of Savoy, have sponsored two boys, named Alan and Moses, from Kenya in January 2011. The couple was married on September 25, 2003, and their first daughter, Princess Vittoria, was born on December 29, 2003. Their second daughter, Princess Luisa, followed on August 16, 2006.
