Funeral of the Count of Paris in Dreux

On February 2; it was the funeral Prince Henri, Count of Paris at the royal chapel in Dreux, the official burial site of members of the Orleanist royal family. The Count passed away on 21 January before he was due to attend the memorial mass for Louis XVI of France in Paris. His wife was unable to attend. The Duchess of Vendôme Turns Forty

The Duchess of Vendôme today celebrates her fortieth birthday. She was born as Philomena de Tornos y Steinhart in Vienna in 1977 to parents of Spanish and Austro-Hungarian ancestry. In March 2009, Philomena civilly wed Prince Jean of Orléans, Duke of Vendôme ahead of a religious ceremony that May. Philomena and Jean have four children: Gaston, Antoinette, Louise-Marguerite, and Joseph. They live in Dreux, France.

Fourth Child For the Duke and Duchess of Vendôme

The duke and duchess of Vendôme became parents for a fourth time. Today the duchess gave birth to a son. The new prince is called Joseph. It has recently been announced that the Duke and Duchess of Vendôme are expecting their fourth child. New Daughter for the Duke and Duchess of Vendôme

The Duke and Duchess of Vendôme have welcomed their third child, a daughter named Louise-Marguerite. The infant was born on July 30 in Poissy, and has the full name Louise-Marguerite Eléonore Marie. She joins older brother Prince Gaston and older sister Princess Antoinette, who “are very eager to include their little sister in their games.” Prince Jean and Princess Philomena were married in May 2009.
