President meets with UAE Ambassadors and Representatives

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan met yesterday with UAE ambassadors and representatives of regional and international organisations who came to greet him on the Holy month of Ramadan. His Highness the president highlighted the importantance played by the country’s ambassadors in strengthening the UAE’s bonds with other nations and boosting the country’s image worldwide saying, “Since its establishment, the UAE has adopted a balanced and moderate policy towards Arab and international issues and earned the respect of the whole world”.

He also urged the ambassadors to reflect the country’s image and achievements made on many fronts “Such a proactive approach would provide the driving force for our foreign policy and maintain its vitality and momentum.” said Sheikh Khalifa.

The meeting was attended by several Sheikhs and senior officials. After the meeting, Sheikh Khalifa hosted an Iftar banquet for the guests.
