Prince Mansour bin Muqrin Killed In Helicopter Crash

Prince Mansour bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia was killed in a helicopter crash near the Saudi-Yemeni border on Sunday.

The Prince, who was in early 40s, was undertaking an inspection of defence and environmental projects in Asir, the province of which he was Deputy Governor, alongside several other officials. The cause of the crash remains unknown, according to the Interior Ministry.

He was one of 14 children born to former Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdul-Aziz and Abta bint Hamoud Al Rashid, and was a nephew to the current King, Salman.
