Florals All Round! Mary, Victoria AND Sofia Opt For Flower Prints

Three royal ladies in Stockholm must have wanted to take advantage of the last days of spring on Tuesday, as they all donned floral prints for their engagements.

Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Sofia, along with Denmark’s Crown Princess Mary, displayed their floral attire during a luncheon at the Royal Palace of Stockholm hosted by King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia (who, in a plain blue suit, clearly didn’t get the floral memo!) in honour of the Danish Crown Princely Couple’s visit to Sweden on a business delegation trip.

The luncheon was a welcome break in the schedule for Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary on the second day of the visit, as they again spent the morning and afternoon on joint engagements together.

Frederik and Victoria (in a black floral skirt with a dusty pink blouse) visited the Stockholm Water and Waste Treatment centre, attended a panel discussion on sustainable cities, and visited a grocery store. Mary (in a navy and white printed dress that she paired with yellow pumps) and Daniel first stopped at Karolinska University Hospital where they met with several young patients, blowing bubbles with them, ahead of a tour; then in the afternoon they visited Aleris Båthöjden Plaza nursing home and the Old National Archives for a cooking show.

The visit concluded with a dinner at the Stockholm City Hall.
