Luxembourg’s Prince Sébastien Celebrates His Quarter Century

Prince Sébastien of Luxembourg, the youngest child of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, today celebrates his twenty-fifth birthday. He was born at the Maternité Grande-Duchesse Charlotte Hospital in 1992 on his father’s 37th birthday.

After primary and secondary education in Luxembourg and England, Sebastien headed to the United States of America for university. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Communication from the Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Sébastien is described as a keen sportsman, with a particular interest in rugby, playing for the Luxembourg Under 19s National Team and his university team.

The Prince is currently undertaking military training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
