King Philippe and Queen Mathilde Visit An Exhibition in Ghent
Yesterday, Friday July 8, Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde paid a visit to the exhibition “Between God and Money. The Golden Age of the Southern Netherlands” held at the Provincial Center for Culture Caermersklooster in Ghent.

At their arrival to the Provincial Center the Royal Couple was welcomed by the Mayor of Ghent, Daniel Termont, the Governor of the East Flanders, Jan Briers and Fernand Huts, art collector and one of the initiators of the exhibition.
The exhibitions consists in masterpieces and unknown works that go from late Middle Ages to early Renaissance. Opened on June 17, the exhibition will run until January 1st, 2017. After visiting the exhibition, the King and the Queen signed the Golden Book.
