Diamonds Are Forever: Philip, Edward and Sophie Celebrate Duke of Edinburgh Awards

A special James Bond-themed gala was held tonight at Stoke Park to help celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards, aptly called the ‘Diamonds Forever Gala’.

The Duke was joined by the Earl and Countess of Wessex for the gala, in which they mingled with the past and present cast and crew of the James Bond film series in the grounds of the Park including Sir Roger Moore, Dame Judi Dench, Naomie Harris and Phillip Schofield.

Both men were dapper in their black tie suits, while Sophie wore a lilac chiffon gown with a pleated criss-cross bodice and diamond jewellery.

Funds raised during the night will go to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards to help change the lives of two million young people by 2020.
