Felipe and Letizia Award Princess of Girona 2015 Awards

The King and Queen of Spain today presented the Princess of Girona Foundation Awards in a ceremony during the IMPULSA Forum at the Auditorium Conference Centre in the north-eastern city of Girona.

Five individuals or organisations collected their statuettes from King Felipe. Olga Felip Ordis won in the category of Arts and Letters, Héctor Colunga Cabaleiro in Social, Samuel Sanchez Ordonez in Scientific Research, Bernat Ollé Pocurull in Business and the Fundación Secretariado Gitano in Organisation.

In his speech at the ceremony, King Felipe called the Foundation an “integrative and inclusive project, which assumed the hope that Spain looks to the future and not the past…living together democratic in diversity based on freedom, civility and respect.”
