Archduke Christoph & Archduchess Adélaïde Expecting First Child

It has been announced that Archduke Christoph of Austria and his wife, Archduchess Adélaïde of Austria (née Drapé-Frisch), are expecting their first child together, which is due at the end of 2014. The baby will be the seventh great-grandchild for Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg.

Archduke Christoph is the second eldest son and third eldest child of Archduke Carl Christian of Austria and his wife, Archduchess Marie Astrid (née Princess of Luxembourg). He was born in Geneva, Switzerland on 2 February 1988.

He and Archduchess Adélaïde were married on 28 December 2012 in a civil ceremony at Lilas, which was then followed by a religious ceremony on 29 December 2012 in Nancy.
