Pieter van Vollenhoven attends Book Presentation

Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven yesterday was presented with the first copy of a new book regarding the history of Soestdijk Palace; “Paleis Soestdijk – Drie eeuwen huis van Oranje’ (‘Soestdijk Palace – Three Centuries of the House of Orange’).

The presentation took place, fittingly, at Soestdijk Palace in Baarn. According to the book’s publisher, Waanders Publishers, the book focuses on the past life of the Palace, as well as looking at its current state. The book is said to contain “superb vintage photographs, many never before published.” The book will be available for purchase next month.
