I love the mini's on Letizia. She pulls them off quite well.

Letizia presents herself well in short dresses/skirts. Number one and two are especially to my type. :)

I agree, she looks great in mini-skirts / dresses, but I still think those are not suitable for official events.

Mini skirt looks very nice on Letizia. But I agree with Cinderella5x. Those are wrong choice for official events in my opinion.

I think they look long enough to be used also at official events.

As I posted no links I think you cannot tell which ones I thought were not suitable. I still do not consider mini skirts / dresses to be suitable for official events. Note - I said mini...

I never heard of Mascaro shoes, so thanks for the info! :flowers: These particular shoes look uglier than the usual letizios, IMO. Very bad taste in shoes, I'm afraid.
That's a link I've come across :
Jaime Mascaró

I must also agree that the shoes Letizia picked out looked exceptionally manly and unflattering...

The Oxford shoes have been considered 'must have' in some fashion magazines the last couple of years. Spain is the 2nd (or 3rd) biggest shoes' makers in the world, Letiza's shoes are definitely on the fashion front.

That's hardly understandable in my point of view...Hmm, again a matter of choice.

Mascaro is a celebrity favourite, at least in the UK. Claudia Schiffer or Kate Moss wear his shoes. But of course they wear the classy ones, mostly flats, while Letizia chose one of the ugly pairs and added some nasty pants to complete her strange Disco/Barbarella look.

What's wrong with her pants ? I think you mistook the Oxford shoes with the ankle boots from Magrit. I like ankle boots with leather pants, she shouldn't wear lighter color shoes (than pants), black boots would have been so much better.

Personally I also love Oxford shoes and I like them much better on Letizia then the platform heels.

yes, my mistake, mixed up the outfits. still, i dont like the shoe models, both designers do have nice pairs but not the ones letizia has been wearing. while the audience pants are nice, the silver disco look is plain ugly.

I do too, but they really don't go with what she is wearing on top. Seems like if you are going to wear suede shoes (that's what they look like anyway) they shouldn't be matched with a sparkly sweater.

Outfit is recycled from Oviedo audiences during PoA awards 2010. Was completely underdressed back then, completely underdressed now.

The coat is fine but IMO skirt,t-shirt and cardi are good for a spring look.
Purse & Shoes

She looks great today. I love her skirt :)
I think her outfit is not informal yet but almost.

I thought she looked really good especially with the coat on though im not a fan of that coat it does look good with the printed skirt underneath.

Look without the coat - I don't care if it is a spring look or not, the skirt is nice for a change especially that its has some color & that fact it is printed. I wish she wore a fitted jacket or a cropped jacket to give it a more formal look or even matched it with a pretty belt over the cardigan and had worn a nice chiffon top at least.

I agree with you. I like the outfit, and I have no problem with a more casual look from time to time, but I just feel like it is the wrong season. Then again, she is in Spain and I am in Wisconsin with a high of only 7 degree F. today so who knows. Maybe it is entirely appropriate.

Letizia looked exceptionally "vernal" today but I think the top was too informal yet. A nice jacket instead of the cardigan, as Dazzling suggested, would add some firmness to the whole look.

I agree that she looked good with her coat on, donnaK. Everything underneath, however, looked cheap and poorly put together. I have to say, that I liked her purse... Something positive. :)

I don't know, the outfit today looks too casual and I agree, Letizia should have worn a jacket instead of a cardigan.

Great coat! I do like the skirt but not together with the cardi and top. Not matching at all! IMO all the parts together make it look frumpy and sloppy.

I like the skirt. But I agree with other posters it needed a more formal looking top. It was just a bit too casual with the cardi and t-shirt.

I really liked the purse.

The cardigan and top are good but are too casual for the occasion.
The skirt looks too granny for me.
Her shoes are not my cup of tea.
Nice make-up and hairdo.
