Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II, The Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Andrew, Duke of York welcomed Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev and the First lady in Buckingham Palace today. The President of Kazakhstan is on an official visit to the UK. During the visit, President Nursultan Nazarbayev briefed the Queen on his visit and the agreements signed. View image | gettyimages.com

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip have started their four day visit to Germany. The couple arrived this evening in Berlin. They were received by a German military honour guard which had lined up to their car, a 21-gun salute and fighter jets flew over the area in tribute.
