Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip Start Their Visit To Germany

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip have started their four day visit to Germany.

The couple arrived this evening in Berlin. They were received by a German military honour guard which had lined up to their car, a 21-gun salute and fighter jets flew over the area in tribute.

Queen Elizabeth  and Prince Philip will also visit Frankfurt on Thursday and Lower Saxony, for the concentration camp Bergen-Belsen, on Friday.
