Of the green ones, my favorite is #7. I like the shade of green and it is elegant. Many of them suffer from too many large buttons. I don't mind large buttons if they are the same color as the coat. Those shiny gold ones look kind of cheap.

Yes, #7 is my favourite too. Thank you for researching all these coats. It makes me wonder what proportion of green coats to other coloured winter coats she has. Looking at the images of some others listed above, she looks lovely in the off white and blue shades.

A good choice for today's engagement that would see her bending and sitting at a young child's level.?

I love the color and print of her top but I so dislike those stupid bows!

Sorry miss again. I love the colors. I like the print. But combining the two gives me a circus tent feel.

And another juvenile p bow. Shirt busy enough without the giant girlish bow.

Nice trousers and good choice for the event.

Except for the bow, I love the blouse. I'm glad she wore slacks; for too long she wore dresses to events where she had to squat or bend.

I despise ***** bows and wish that trend would die.

However, Kate always looks great in slacks. Glad she finally started to incorporate them.

Those bows!!!! Ahhhhj. But otherwise a good outfit for the occasion.

I love the outfit, except for the bow. It’s an 80s trend that I really wish had stayed gone.

The blouse is fine (mentally deleting the bow, here) and the pants look good. It's a good outfit for the engagement.

I hope we stop seeing them this year ....not sure I can take another year of them! lol

I don't actually mind the bows. I always liked wearing them and my mother had a lovely blouse with a bow back in the 1960's. There are some that are just too big but in general, they are the least of the travesties fashion is sticking us with these days. And Kate has worn much worse.

Can’t for the life of me understand why she’s so tied to wearing bows [emoji3]
Love the blouse minus the adornment.

I really dislike these bows now - they seem very ageing. The rest of the blouse is OK & Catherine always looks good in any style of trousers.

I like this out fit, it would seem that the Duchess does like a blow .

I'm joining Catherine on the bows here. I like them just as much. :D

I adore this coat - the lenght, the cut, the colour, simply amazing! I'll wait for ID, but it probably costs waaaay to much to splurge on it

Regarding this dress , I dislike it. I find the print and style awful.

I dislike the blouse as I find the print terrible.

Catherine arrives in Cardiff today on her Early Years tour. The coat has been ID'd as Massimo Dutti.

I love the coat. It’s very beautiful and a great color. I dislike the blouse and skirt however. I dislike the print of the skirt.

I love the coat and despite my aversion to beige/fawn shades on most people as they can drain colour from the face, it looks good on her. Perhaps it's because she wears make-up & her hair looks quite chestnutty these days so she can carry it off.

Nice coat! I agree that camel or fawn coats can really be unflattering, but this one seems to have enough peach undertones to liven it up. And as a bonus, it's not blue!

I'm less enthusiastic about the skirt, but I appreciate that it's an affordable brand, and clearly these engagements are not about the clothes, so really, who cares? Aside from those of us who are posting on this thread, of course.?

I absolutely love that skirt! The coat is okay, nothing remarkable (would of been amazing had she worn a pop of brighter color in a coat). But that skirt is great!

I like the black boot/top with it.

LaRae

I like the whole outfit. Skirt is especially nice. High heeled boots are awesome.

The camel colored coat really looks good on her.

I love both the coat and skirt. Altogether a very nice look from the Duchess today.

:previous:
Me too!

I'd love to own that! Kate looks wonderful.

For once I can honestly say I love Kate's coat. Camel is a great classic. The coat fits her perfectly, the pocket flaps aren't overpowering and the buttons aren't big enough to choke a horse. The buttons on a lot of her coats are often the problem for me. The skirt is okay. I don't love it but I don't love it either. It seems suitable for the visit.
