But to some more informal event it would have been wonderful.

I have been raised like that that a blouse this open isn't suitable for a church service.

Church is a sacred place for me and I respect it with by dressing appropriately for a normal church service. We have everyone different opinions and values, this is mine.

Aren't you a bit partial? the neckline is not inappropriate at all.
Then what do you think of the dress you favourite royal ( CPVictoria ) has worn when entering Westminster Abbay?

Back then,I didn't recall you made any criticism

I think she looked beautiful today and appropriately dressed. Very feminine and I loved her hair. Not a fan of her shoes, however.

To be honest, I think it comes down to perception. Victoria's gown, while totally acceptable for church, does accentuate her lovely figure whereas Madeleine's blouse, with it's naughty wee split hints at a very sexy woman. A case of more is less, if you will.

So basically we just have two really normal, beautiful women, wearing lovely and not inappropriate clothes to church. God, I am sure, is just happy they are there. The rest is between them an God.

Lovely Blouse and a Moncler jacket...her casual style is not the best but is very smart, she wears normal jeans, maybe zara or so...the jacket is expensive and wonderful the blouse is---more or less, but she looks wonderful to me

Shouldn't we have a Madeleine maternity style thread?

Madeleine yesterday at the From Farm to Fork Green Summit.

I don't like anything in this outfit. The dress isn't beautiful and the jacket/bolero doesn't look good with it, it's too short. And the big bow ruins the rest.

In the evening at the gala dinner with Chris at a baby blue gown

The dress is ok but it makes her look a bit matronly.

Is the gala dress the Jenny Packham (or very similar) that Alexandra of Lux wore for Felix's wedding, and that Kate wore in a diff color?

OMG, Madde looks huge!!! Her bust in the gala dinner is like Katie Price's!!!

I find both outfits too messy, Madeleine now needs to keep it simple and leave all the fuss otherwise she looks super-matronly.

"Matronly" is good: "dignified, honourable, mature, respected, female, ladylike, motherly, stately" [from Matronly Synonyms, Matronly Antonyms | Thesaurus.com ]

Both outfits did not favor her, the first one is too short and too tight for her state the second is too messy, she should keep it simple now...and her bust is getting big so she could disguise it with another type of dress...she has to know that her way of dressing needs to change a bit now.. she is not a htin person normally so she will get even bigger and she must know how to dress according to that state!

Madeleine would do better to switch to real maternity clothes at this point in her pregnancy. She's making regular clothes work on her changing body. As such, normal clothes highlight areas that are changing naturally but bot in a flattering way.
