On June 6, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden were joined by their children and grandchildren as they attended the National Day celebrations in Stockholm, Sweden, which commemorate Gustav Vasa’s election as king in 1523 and the adoption of the new constitution in 1809.

The day began with photos of Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar, the two children of Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel, being released by Kungahuset. The photos were taken by royal photographer Linda Broström.

The same morning, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited Dalarna, where they visited Alice Lund Textiles and met with local residents. This was followed by Crown Princess Victoria and her family joining in with the local festivities outside Haga Palace, their residence in Stockholm.

A summer concert was held in Haga Park where Crown Princess Victoria conducted a speech. Afterwards, the traditional carriage ride and concert took place which was attended by the King and Queen and their children, as well as little Princess Estelle. In the evening a reception was also hosted by King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia at the royal palace.
