On February 23, the Swedish royal court released two photographs of Princess Estelle, Duchess of Östergötland, who turned seven.

The photographs were taken by photographer Linda Broström and depicted Estelle and her brother, Prince Oscar, who is two years old, playing in a sleigh, whilst the second shows Estelle with her horse, a Welsh pony called Viktor.

Princess Estelle was born on 23 February 2012 at the Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden and is the first child of Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel. She is second in line to the throne and is also the eldest grandchild of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia. Estelle is also the first female heir in Swedish history to inherit a crown that cannot be surpassed by a male heir after the laws were amended in 1979, abolishing absolute primogeniture.

Estelle is currently attending the Campus Manila School in Stockholm having previously attended the Äventyret Preschool in Danderyd.
