Final of ‘FameLab Spain’ Attended by Queen Letizia

The Queen of Spain was present for the final of the fifth edition of ‘FameLab Spain 2017’, a competition to promote scientific communication.

Wearing a white suit jacket-style vest over black trousers, Queen Letizia presented Universidad de Extremadura student Pedro Daniel Pajares with the first place prize for his presentation.

FameLab, which began in the UK in 2005, brings together scientists to “engage and entertain by breaking down science, technology and engineering concepts into three minute presentations.”
