William and Kate Host Reception for Indian and Bhutanese Expats

Ahead of their tour of India and Bhutan beginning next week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted a reception this afternoon at Kensington Palace for young people from the two countries that are living, working or studying in the UK.

Students, business people, charity workers and models were amongst the group, including the Indian High Commissioner to the UK, Navtej Sarna. People associated with the British Asian Trust were also invited, as the Trust is helping with the organisation of the Bollywood event the couple will attend in India.

Apparently during the event, Kate – wearing a deep blue floor-length dress with an illusion panel at the bodice that has not been to many’s liking – revealed she loves spicy food but her husband has some problems with the strong flavours.
