Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited Tabaqat Fahel, a district in Northern Ghor in Jordan. The purpose of Her Majesty’s visit was to highlight and view small businesses run by women which are supported by the Community Centers Association (CCA) in the district.

Queen Rania visited various working ladies either in their small business run from their homes or shops. The ladies spoke about how the small business has helped their living conditions and has changed their lives for the better. One lady told the Queen that her business was helping her to send her daughter to school.

Her Majesty gave the people King Abdullah II’s greetings and was happy to hear all the successful stories of the district: “His Majesty is always keen on highlighting the competitive advantages of each area. Tabaqet Fahel is also a great location for agriculture and tourism, and residents can invest more in these qualities to attract more tourists, thus, benefiting its residents.”
