Queen Sofia at Concert by the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra

Her Majesty The Queen attended a concert performed by the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra at the National Music Auditorium in Madrid.

Queen Sofia was accompanied to the concert by her younger sister, Her Royal Highness Princess Irene of Greece. The Queen and her sister were greeted by the director of the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, Mr Zubin Mehta.

Both Queen Sofia and Princess Irene are longtime lovers of classical music. The Concert was organised by Ibermúsica, which was founded over 40 years ago and prides itself on bringing the best music to Spain.
